SCHOOL – Aiming for Success

What would a deviation of a degree do to the final trajectory of the Space Shuttle Discovery? Very likely, the mission would fail. A very sad and expensive failure.

Fortunately, that did not happen. The Space Shuttle Discovery flew 39 missions over 27 years, making its final touchdown at the Kennedy Space Center on March 9, 2011. It also carried and placed the Hubble Space Telescope into orbit (www.hubblesite.org).

As a pediatrician, now exclusively doing ADHD coaching, I am well aware of developmental paths, and how important beginnings are. A space shuttle launch is a lot like the launch of a school year. Each required the best beginning possible, in order to keep ascending.

Executive functions are your instrumentation, each of them critical to your personal mission. Knowing which ones work best for you, and which require special attention, is critical to your self awareness and success.

My coaching is about you:- your executive functions, your motivation, and your specific goals. It is about what you can do, and learn, and change to access your best strengths.

In coaching you explore how you learn. Your discover your unique strengths. You identify resources and options. And you make changes, little by little, to forward your goals.

Staying on course, and staying the course.

I coach students from junior high through graduate school.
